  • Continue to Hemis Monastery, the largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh.
  • Return to Leh in the evening and explore Leh Palace if time permits.

Pangong Lake Excursion

  • An early start is crucial for this long day trip.
  • Drive to Pangong Lake via Chang La Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the world.
  • Spend the day at Pangong Lake, known for its ever-changing shades of blue. Enjoy a picnic lunch.
